About Chainetix
Chainetix Inc. is a cryptocurrency forensic investigations firm based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Site provides general information about our services and a contact form through which prospective clients can submit inquiries.
No professional relationship
Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, investigative, financial, or other professional advice. Submitting an inquiry through the contact form, exchanging emails with us, or otherwise communicating with Chainetix does not create a professional or contractual relationship between you and Chainetix.
An engagement begins only when both parties sign a written engagement agreement. Until that point, we make no commitment to take your case, respond within a specific time frame, or maintain your information beyond what we consider appropriate professional practice.
Submitting an inquiry
By submitting information through the contact form, you represent that:
- The information you provide is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You have the right to share any third-party information you submit — for example, that you are the victim of the fraud described, or are otherwise authorized to share the details
- You understand that we may use the information you submit to evaluate your case and respond to you, as described in our Privacy Policy
We accept engagements at our discretion. We may decline to investigate any matter for any reason.
Services, fees, and termination
Chainetix provides professional cryptocurrency forensic investigation services. We do not sell, ship, or deliver physical products.
Investigative services are provided under a written engagement agreement, which sets out the scope of work, deliverables, fees, payment terms, and other terms applicable to that engagement. Fees may be charged on a fixed-fee basis, a retainer basis, or such other basis as specified in the engagement agreement. Estimates and invoices specify the currency of payment.
Where fees are paid in advance against a retainer, any unbilled balance remaining at the end of the engagement is refundable upon request. Fees that have been billed for work already performed are not refundable.
Either party may terminate an engagement in accordance with the terms set out in the engagement agreement. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that have accrued before termination.
